A popular hotel in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State has been demolished by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s newly launched security outfit, Agunechemba, after the discovery of no fewer than 30 graves, shrines, and numerous charms within the premises. It was gathered that the uncovered graves contained decayed bodies, evoking memories of the infamous 1996 Otokoto saga in Owerri, Imo State, where the murder of an 11-year-old boy exposed a notorious ritual killing network. Top Banker, Prof. Soludo wins Anambra APGA’s Governorship Primary Election

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday emerged the governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Nov. 6 governorship election in Anambra. Soludo scored a total of 740 votes out of 792 valid votes cast by delegates. Declaring the results of the exercise, Samson Olalere, the Returning Officer said Soludo fulfilled the provisions of Electoral Act and APGA guidelines.
