The Imo State High Courts sitting in Mgbidi, Oguta, and Omumma divisions will not sit on Thursday following the killing of a popular lawyer in the state, Barrister Chinedu Nwowu. The lawyer, according to The Sun, was reportedly ambushed and shot dead by gunmen on Wednesday evening in Mgbidi, his hometown.
