China Suffers COVID-19 Second Wave, Tests Another Entire City of 4.7m people

China is once again mass testing an entire city for the coronavirus amid a regional outbreak in Xinjiang province. Around 4.7m people in Kashgar are being tested and 138 asymptomatic cases have been found so far. China has been largely successful in bringing infection rates down but there continue to be small outbreaks. Chinese City To Test 9m For COVID-19 In Five Days

  The Chinese city of Qingdao is testing its entire population of nine million people for Covid-19 over a period of five days. It comes after a dozen cases were confirmed linked to a local hospital which treats imported patients, reports Sky News.
