The High Court in Bauchi, Bauchi State, has sentenced Adamu AbdulRauf and Abdulkadir Wada to 35 years in jail for luring six-year-old Hauwa’u Ya’u to an uncompleted building and cutting off her genitals. The crime happened three years ago in Jama’are Local Council. In January 2021, Bauchi State Police Command had arrested the duo in connection with the crime and charged them to court.
