The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the death of one Adeyemi Adewale, a football player for the Ilesa West Local Government Area team, who slumped during a match in Osogbo, the state capital. The deceased was said to be participating in the annual football match in honour of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke at the Ataoja School of Science on Thursday when he slumped on the field and died shortly after.
