The Nigerian Government has directed all Telcos including MTN Glo, and 9Mobile, to strictly bar outgoing calls for telephone lines that have not complied with the policy of linking National Identification Number (NIN) to the Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) from the 4th of April, 2022. Comply With Regulations, NCC Tasks MTN, Glo, 7,983 Other Telecoms Licensees

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has tasked telecom licensees in the Africa’s most populous country to always comply with the provisions of extant laws, subsidiary legislations and other regulatory frameworks put in place to ensure a more competitive and sustainable telecoms sector in Nigeria.
