Some yet-to-be-identified gunmen on Thursday assassinated a third-class chief, Abdulmutalib Nuhu, in Sensani Village, Gasol Local Government Area of Taraba State. It was gathered that the monarch was slain just hours before the Taraba State Government hosted the Nwonyo Fishing and Cultural Festival in the state’s Ibbi Local Government Area.
