The Oyo East Local Government has confirmed the passage of one of the Oyo kingmakers, and a member of the Traditional Council (Oyomesi), High Chief Abdul-Rasheed Shehu. It was gathered that the Alapinni of Oyoland died in the early hours of Sunday after battling an undisclosed sickness.
