The Lagos State Government has shut down Dowen College, Lekki following controversies that had continued to trail the death of a 12-year-old male student of the school, Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, alleged to have been tortured by suspected cultists in the School. Oromoni parents who made the allegation, amidst denial by the school management, added that their son confirmed to have been tortured by the suspected cultists for refusing to join the group.
