The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has bowed to pressure from the stakeholders including the students as he backed down on 168 per cent increase in the tuition fee of Lagos State University (LASU). The approval came days LASU students protested the hike in tuition fees by the institution’s authorities, demanding a reversal of the decision, citing the economic hardship across the country.
