On Tuesday, a damning report alleged that the embattled dean is involved in a racketeering syndicate in LASU. The syndicate, the report said, sold falsified degree certificates to interested buyers for up to N3 million. Only six universities from Nigeria feature in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The University of Ibadan maintained its top spot in Nigeria and ranked 401-500 out of over 1,600 institutions across the world.
