An explosion in the early hours of Monday has reportedly injured many workers at the Zungeru Hydro Electric Dam in Niger State. The explosion also affected some critical installations in the dam, resulting in a power outage in Minna, Niger State. An expatriate engineer was among the scores of persons injured by the blast, according to a report by ThisDay. The injured workers were rushed to Minna General Hospital.
