The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced that there is no deadline on the circulation of old N200, N500 and N1000 bank notes. This observation was highlighted in the IMF’s global financial stability report, unveiled during a press briefing in Washington DC. The IMF noted that the CBN’s actions, particularly the settlement of verified FX obligations, have contributed to stabilizing the naira.   . Apex Court nullifies naira redesign policy, says old notes valid till Dec 31     The supreme court has invalidated the naira redesign policy introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The court made the declaration on Friday while delivering judgment in a suit instituted by three states of the federation.
