Predict Doom, Go To 5-Year Jail, Police Warn Religious Leaders

The Ghana Police Service has warned religious leaders to desist from New Year prophecies that could cause fear or disturb public peace. Platforms Africa reports that the Ghana Police gave the warning via a statement signed by its Director, Public Affairs, Supt. Alexander Obeng. The police said any religious leader found guilty could be liable to a term of imprisonment of up to five years.
