A man, Hassan Azeez, has been arrested by the police command in Ogun, Southwest Nigeria, for allegedly setting his wife ablaze. Abimbola Oyeyemi, Ogun police spokesperson, in a statement on Friday, said the victim’s father reported the case on October 22, 2022. Oyeyemi said the suspect escaped after police officers were deployed to arrest him at the scene of the incident.
