Nigeria’s former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi (retd), is dead. The Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, confirmed the death of the Admiral in a terse statement. According to Gusau, Ogohi, who was the CDS between 1999 and 2003 during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, died in the early hours of Sunday.
