Pandemonium As Fire Guts Murtala International Airport Lagos 

A section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos was gutted by fire Wednesday morning, leaving passengers and airline operators running helter-skelter.  It was gathered that a smoke incident was reported at Terminal 1 of the airport at about 07.50hours. This prompted evacuation of passengers and staff, according to FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua.
