Secretary to opposition party in Lagos, PDP, Dosunmu Shodipe, is dead

  Lagos State chapter of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the passing of its State Secretary, Prince Muiz Dosunmu Shodipe. The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the party’s spokesperson, Mr. Taofik Gani, but refused to disclose further information. it, however, gathered that Shodipe, who has been nursing an undisclosed ailment for some time now, died in Lagos on Wednesday morning. How twin explosions rocked Nigerian opposition party PDP’s secretariat

  Details have emerged on how twin explosions rocked the secretariat of the Nigeria’s major opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Southsouth Nigeria. The edplosions were caused by dynamite detonated in a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) parked in front of the secretariat at about 3pm during the councilorship primaries of the party.
