In another twist of event, all security aides attached to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, as well as those securing the Assembly complex, have been withdrawn with immediate effect. The reason and who authorised the withdrawal cannot be ascertained as of press time but a source close to the Speaker confirmed that Meranda was now vulnerable.
