JAMB Approves Cut-off Marks For Varsities, Polytechnics

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, on Thursday, approved cut-off marks for universities and polytechnics in the country. The decision was taken after a heated session comprising officials from JAMB, the Ministry of Education, the National Universities Commission, and the National Board for Technical Education among others. 3,135 Candidates With High UTME Scores Denied Admission – JAMB

A total of 3,135 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry examinations candidates who scored 300 and above in 2018, 2019 and 2020 did not gain admission into tertiary institutions. The figure is based on the admission statistics prepared by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board for the three years.
