The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sacked the general manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), Bolaji Oreagba. Sanwo-olu, however, appointed Bakare-Oki Olalekan as his replacement with immediate effect. Platforms Africa reports that Oreagba was appointed on the 14th September, 2021, by governor Sanwo-olu. In a press statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation, Olawale Musa, the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanours among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads.
