Daoud Yaya Brahim has resigned as the Chadian defence minister after a sex tape involving government officials was leaked. According to Tchad One, a local media, Brahim resigned late Tuesday night after multiple attempts to exonerate himself and denied being in the leaked video. The former minister also reportedly tried to remedy the situation by imprisoning two girls. “We demand the immediate release of Shona and Mariam, unjustly detained in the ANS premises,” the report said.
