Nigeria forward Taiwo Awoniyi has undergone emergency surgery after colliding with a post during Nottingham Forest’s Premier League home clash with Leicester City last weekend, Prompt News reports. According to Sky Sports, Awoniyi was taken down to the hospital for abdominal surgery after the accident.
