Tanzania have sacked coach Adel Amrouche after he received an eight-match ban and $10,000 fine from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for accusing Morocco of influencing the continental body. Amrouche, who took over as manager of the Taifa Stars in March 2023, made allegations following his team’s 3-0 loss to the Atlas Lions in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) opener in Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday.
