The Minister of Labour, Simon Lalong has tendered his resignation from President Bola Tinubu’s government. He submitted his resignation letter at the federal executive council meeting held on Wednesday. His resignation is for him to resume as the senator representing Plateau South Senatorial district. This followed reclaiming his mandate as he received his Certificate of Return (CoR) from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) earlier this year.
