The United States Embassy in Abuja and the Consulate General in Lagos will be shut on Monday, 17 February 2025. This is in observance of Presidents’ Day, according to a statement posted on X on Sunday by the diplomatic mission. US to Support Nigerian Police on Evidence Storage Facility

The United States of America is helping establish a state-of-the-art Secure Evidence Storage Facility at the Nigeria Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Division Headquarters in Garki, Abuja. This is in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and the Nigeria Police Force.
