A 46-year-old tenant, Usman Hammed, on Thursday appeared in an Ogudu Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for allegedly assaulting his landlady over an electricity bill. Hammed, whose house address was not given, is being tried for assault to which he pleaded not guilty. The Prosecutor, Insp. Donjor Perezi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 8 at about 9p.m. at No 25, Olaniyi Str., Agiliti, Mile 12, Lagos State.
