Government orders licensing of all OTT and social media operations in Nigeria
The Nigerian Government has declared that it slammed an indefinite suspension on operations of the microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, in Nigeria because Twitter has been persistently used for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension in a statement signed by his
Special Assistant Segun Adeyemi sighted by Platforms Africa.

process of licensing all OTT and social media operations in Nigeria.
