Sunday Igboho, Spiritualist Sat Guru Maraj Debunk Arrest Rumour

“I have heard of the rumour of the purported arrest of me. I am in my house in Ibadan. Nobody arrested me.”

 

 

“The Department of Security Service (DSS) or anybody has not tracked down and arrested me,” Mr. Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a. Sunday Igboho, a self-proclaimed Yoruba Nation activist, has reportedly declared.

Platforms  Africa reports that the audio where Igboho said this was played by his spokesman, Koiki, around 23:37 on Friday in a Live feed on Facebook as rumour of his arrest spread like a wild fire on social media and on blogs in Nigeria and abroad.

“I have heard of the rumour of the purported arrest of me. I am in my house in Ibadan. Nobody arrested me,” he was heard to have said in Yoruba language in the voice note played by koiki on his Facebook Live podcast.

Igboho was, according to these yet-to-be-verified reports, allegedly tracked down and arrested at Spiritualist Sat Gurumaraj’s Kingdom of Love in Ibadan.

Maharaj who also said on phone that he was in his home in Lagos, debunked what he described as the arrest rumour.

In about 7 minutes conversation on phone, Sat Guru Maharaj debunked the “arrest as contained in the story, saying; “I am in my house in Lagos and not aware of any arrest nor was arrested as the story claimed.”

The DSS has not issued an official statement to confirm or refute its rumoured arrest and tranfer of the two men to Abuja.

Earlier some reports making the rounds on blogs and other online mefia reads;

“Sunday Igboho, along with Sat Gurumaraji, a prominent spiritualist who housed him in his “Kingdom,” has been transferred to the DSS headquarters in Abuja.

“An insider at the Sat Gurumaraji Temple of Love who confirmed this added that Igboho arrived the “kingdom” at the midnight of Wednessay, day an attack was carried our on his residence in Soka area of Ibadan by the DSS leading to the death if two of his disciples.”
