DPR reacts to N1,000 per litre petrol price hike report

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) said its attention has been drawn to the misinterpretation of the comments made by it regarding subsidy removal. Platforms  Africa reports that this follows an online publication stating that the price of PMS could rise up to N1,000/litre upon the subsidy removal without alternative energy.   A middle-age woman, Bunmi Ademola, who has been suffering mental illness for 18 years, has given birth to two bouncing baby boys as a set of twins in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital. ’ Yoruba secessionists’ leader, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has not been released from custody in Benin Republic. Wale Adeniran, one of the conveners of Ilana Omo Oodua International, a Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, confirmed this on Tuesday evening.
