Nigeria’s music superstar, Tiwa Savage has reportedly lost four endorsement deals after her sex tape was leaked on the social media.

Tiwa Savage has been trending on social media after her sex tape was leaked into the public domain a few days ago. Another reason why she is trending is her new album with American artist Brandy.
Tiwa has topped the American music chart. One of her songs on her album “somebody” has been trending on all social media platforms.

Another hard knock for her was the report that companies who signed Tiwa Savage on their products and goods have withdrawn their endorsement deals from the artist after her sex tape was leaked on social media.
Tiwa Savage has lost four endorsement deals from Cadbury, a beverage company, Pampers, a diaper company, Glo a network service and one other over her leaked sex tape.
The Pop star, had revealed that she was being blackmailed over a sex tape of herself and her partner, by a stalker who intended to make money through that means.
She explained the video was accidentally posted on Snapchat by her lover who deleted it after he realised his error, but it had already been downloaded by a stalker.
Tiwa Savage, in an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1, absolved her lover and other people close to her of deliberately leaking the video.
She said, “I am not going to call it a sex tape but it’s a tape between me and the person I am dating right now…It is not from someone working closely with me. What happened is that the person did it on Snap and he posted it by accident, but he quickly deleted it.
”However, someone got it before he could delete it. It is a very short video, but it is me. It is going to be out there and I can just imagine the memes. I just found out yesterday. I could not sleep last night.” she said.
Meanwhile, breaking her silence via Instagram yesterday, the ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner posted a lovely photo of herself wearing a white pants suit and accompanied it with a cryptic message.
According to Tiwa’s caption, she was able to charge the scandal to her game and she would never speak on it again.
“Change that sh*t to the game and never speak on it again,” she wrote.
Also, in another post, the singer thanked her fans for the love and support they have shown to her.
