How Nigerian Man Raped 80-Year-Old Grandmother – Police

The Nigerian Police has given graphical details of how a middle-age man, Dan Asabe Eddo, raped an 80 year-old grandmother and widow in Kundami village, Garaku, Kokona LGA of Nasarawa State, Northwest Nigeria.

Platforms Africa reports that officers of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested the 43-year-old man, Eddo, accused of raping the 80-year-old Grandmother who was staying alone in the same village with him.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the crime and the arrest in a statement sighted by Platforms Africa.

“One Dan’asabe Eddo, a 43-year-old man of Kubasha village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna, but resident in Kundami village, Garaku, Kokona LGA of Nasarawa State, nocturnally went into the residence of an 80-year-old woman, who stays alone in the same village, and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

“Upon receipt of the complaint, police operatives attached to the Garaku division immediately swung into action and got the suspect arrested.

“Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted to the commission of the offence and blamed it on the handiwork of the devil,” the statement said.

The PPRO said he state Commissioner of Police, Adesina Soyemi, had given the directive for the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia, for further investigations.
