There had been speculation about Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future, but the forward has committed to the club after the departure of fellow forward Sadio Mane.
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has extended his stay with the Anfield club.
Salah, who finished last season as the Reds’ top scorer last season, was previously on a deal running until 2023. The new deal will keep him at Liverpool until 2025, with the deal making him the highest-paid player in the club’s history with wages in excess of £350,000 per week.

Mohamed Salah has been a key man for Liverpool since joining club in 2017, helping Jurgen Klopp’s side win the Premier League and Champions League among other trophies.
Salah said, “I feel great and [I am] excited to win trophies with the club.
“It’s a happy day for everyone.
“It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what’s next. I think you can see in the last five or six years the team was always going [upwards].
“Last season we were close to winning four, but unfortunately in the last week of the season we lost two trophies. I think we are in a good position to fight for everything. We have new signings as well. We just need to keep working hard, have a good vision, be positive and go for everything again.”
