Six people have been swept away in violent flooding that is ongoing around the Fatoki area of Orile Agege, Lagos. National Emergency Management Authority’s Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed this, added that search and rescue operations have begun. The Advisory Board for The Nigeria Prize for Literature today released the longlist of 11 drawn from 287 books in the running for the 2022 edition of the prize, focused on Poetry.
