UTME: Meet Lotanna Azuokeke, Candidate Who Scored 99 Over 100 in Maths

Master Lotanna Azuokeke, a student of Bishop Otubelu Juniorate, Trans Ekulu, Enugu, scored 99 marks in Mathematics in the just-concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Azuokeke, 15, scored a total of 337 marks in the examination, according to a statement by Dr Chiwuike Uba, Media Adviser to the Bishop of the Diocese of Nike (Anglican Communion), the Founder of the school. Agip Renews FPSO Contract For Development Of Abo Field

Nigerian Agip Exploration, a subsidiary of Italy’s oil and gas giant Eni, has executed another short-term contract extension to BW Offshore for one of its floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, which is working on an offshore field in Nigeria. BW Offshore revealed that it had signed a new short-term extension for the Abo FPSO, allowing the vessel to work on the Abo field until 31 May 2023. Shell Reports $9.6Bn Adjusted Earnings In Q1, 2023

Oil major, Shell  has reported an adjusted earnings of $9.6bn in the first quarter of 2023, with more cash on the way for shareholders. Total distributions from the energy giant to its holders during Q1 totalled $6.3bn, drawing criticism of the firm amid the cost-of-living crisis. 2023 WASSCE Starts Monday, May 8 – WAEC Releases Timetable

The 2023 school-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will hold for seven weeks, spanning 8 May to 23 June. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced this at a pre-examination press briefing Thursday in Lagos. The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors has reiterated its stance on its demands from the Federal Government and restated its threat to go on strike if the demands are not met. The doctors are demanding an immediate increase in the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure to the tune of 200 per cent of the current gross salaries of doctors.
