The embattled chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Wale Adedayo, has declares that he was yet to open the box on another N52 billion allegations against Governor Dapo Abiodun, accusing governor of using armed policemen to intimidate him.
In a post via his Facebook page, Adedayo said the use of mobile policemen in order to impeach him was an act of desperation.
“Invading the peaceful Ogbere community with mobile policemen in order to impeach Wale Adedayo is desperation.

“As I told the SSG yesterday, we took an oath with our fathers that we’ll make this land better than we met it. You can kill the body, but not the spirit of Wale Adedayo,” he said.
Adedayo had in a letter addressed to a former governor of the state and a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olusegun Osoba, accused the governor of underfunding the local government system since he took office in May 2019.
He also said the governor must account for the funds since 2019, saying he is yet to open the box on another N52 billion allegations.
Meanwhile, Adedayo has been suspended by councillors in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun.
