The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of ‘Dare Odufowokan, an Assistant Editor with The Nation newspapers, as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Public Communication.
Platforms Africa reports that appointment takes immediate effect.

Odufowokan, young and vibrant, comes to his new job with a lot of experience in the print, broadcast and online media.
He is also a professional Public Relations practitioner and a renowned on air personality/political analyst.

He started his journalism creer as a rookie with the defunct National Concord, working under Dele Alake, Tunji Bello, Sam Omatseye, Segun Adeniyi, Loius Odion, Jill Okeke etc.
He later became a Chief Correspondent at the Sun Newspapers. ‘Dare also worked as Political Editor at National Life Newspapers and later Editor of Ondo People’s News.
Before is appointment by Governor Abiodun, he was an Assistant Editor/Head of Political Desk on the Weekend Desk at The Nation newspaper.
He has a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the department of mass communication, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
