Family of Four Electrocuted in Taraba

The Police Command in Taraba Monday confirmed the electrocution of a family of four around Dinyavo area of Jalingo, the state capital. Platforms Africa reports that the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Jalingo. According to him, the incident happened around 11:00 a.m. Monday. Nigeria’s Petrol Tanker Explosion Kills Eight

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says eight persons were burnt to death after a petrol-laden tanker went up in flame at Ologbo bridge on the Benin-Sapele expressway, Delta state.  In a statement, Bisi Kazeem, spokesperson of the FRSC, said the accident on Sunday was a “dual crash” involving “15 different categories of vehicles”.
