Family of Four Electrocuted in Taraba

The Police Command in Taraba Monday confirmed the electrocution of a family of four around Dinyavo area of Jalingo, the state capital. Platforms Africa reports that the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Jalingo. According to him, the incident happened around 11:00 a.m. Monday. Nigeria became the first African country to receive Starlink services     Elon Musk’s SpaceX has announced a partnership with African e-commerce company Jumia to expand broadband internet in Africa, Jumia’s chief commercial officer said in an interview, according to Bloomberg. Nigeria’s Petrol Tanker Explosion Kills Eight

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says eight persons were burnt to death after a petrol-laden tanker went up in flame at Ologbo bridge on the Benin-Sapele expressway, Delta state.  In a statement, Bisi Kazeem, spokesperson of the FRSC, said the accident on Sunday was a “dual crash” involving “15 different categories of vehicles”.
