Man Who Supervised Qur’an Translation Into 77 Languages Is Dead

Saudi releases official statement on the demise of Dr. F. Abdul Raheem, Director of the Translation Center at the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Medina

 

The Director of the Translation Center at the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Medina, Dr. F. Abdul Raheem, is dead.

Platforms Africa reports that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the death of Sheikh Abdul Raheem through Haramain Sharifain, the official website of the two holy Mosques.

The website added that the late Director of the Translation Center at the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Medina, supervised the issuance of translations of the Holy Qur’an in more than 77 languages.

“Dr. F. Abdul Raheem, Director of the Translation Center at the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Medina, where he supervised the issuance of translations of the Holy Qur’an in more than 77 languages has passed away,” Haramain Sharifain noted.

Meanwhile, reactions have greeted the demise of Sheikh Abdul Raheem with millions of Muslims all around the World praying for the repose of his soul.

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun May almighty Allah have mercy on him and may jannatul firdaus be his final abode,” Abdullahi Galadima wrote on Facebook.

Aliyu M. Gusau added, “May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi! Aameen summa Aameen.”

Corroborating Gusau’s View, Najam wrote; “انا اللہ وانا الیہ راجعون
May Allah ease his way forward and bless him the highest place in Jannatul Firdous ( Ameen summa Ameen).”
