President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of 555 individuals to serve as Pro-chancellors/Chairmen and members of Governing Boards across 111 federal universities, polytechnics, and Colleges of Education. The list, which was put forward by the Ministry of Education, has been approved by President Tinubu. Each institution will have a chairperson and four members on its Governing Board. The inauguration and retreat for these Governing Councils are scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, 2024, at the National Universities Commission in Abuja.…
