Aviation Journalist, Wole Shadare, decorated among Nigeria’s 100 Top Industry Leaders

Globally recognised award-winning Aviation journalist, Wole Shadare, has been decorated as one of the 100 top aviation leaders in Nigeria.

Platforms Africa reports that Shadare was recognised and decorated at a two day aviation and cargo symposium and exhibition in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital.

Organiser of the event, Ambassador Ikechi Uko, an aviation and tourism aficionado, declared that Shadare was picked for the recognition based on his contribution to the aviation industry through his investigarive reports and indepth analysis of the sector.

Shadare, the University of Ilorin graduate, who has worked with The Guardian among others, is presently the aviation editor of New Telegraph.

Reacting to the recognition on his Facebook page, Shadare who, according to a report by Platforms Africa, also confirmed the event, said that he gave glory to God.

“Glory be to God. Yours truly was chosen as one of Top 100 Aviation Leaders in Nigeria at a two day aviation and cargo symposium and exhibition put together by one of aviation and tourism aficionados, Amb. Ikechi Uko held at Marriot Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos,” he said.
