Some residents in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital, have protested over Naira and fuel scarcity in the country.
The situation is same in Ikorodu Lafos, where all commercial banks have reportedly shutdown as at 1pm on Tuesday.

In pictures shared on Tuesday, residents poured into the roads and streets over biting scarcity of cash and fuel.

In Ikorodu, Zenith Bank Plc and others allegedly shut down operations.

It would be recalled that a branch of the bank in Ikorodu, Lagos had to evacuate its staff through the back fence for fear of been attacked by angry customers who couldn’t access their money either through ATM or at the counter.
