Three Voters Shot As Thugs Destroy Electoral Materials In Ebonyi

Some political thugs have destroyed electoral materials including the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine and other sensitive materials in Omege Ward, Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Omege ward is the polling unit of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Bernard Odoh. The thugs also injured some voters at the polling unit. The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, has defeated his closest rivals, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, at his polling unit in Osolu Junior High School, Unit 001 ward G in Irewe, Ojo Local Government Area of the state. The Federal Government has taken further steps to break electricity industry monopoly after President Muhammadu Buhari signed into law the constitutional amendment that allows the state government to license, generate, transmit, and distribute electricity.
