Chrisland: Lagos Opposes Exhumation Of Late Student’s Corpse

Lagos State Government said it would  oppose  exhumation of the corpse of Whitney Adeniran, the 12-year-old student of Chrisland Schools, Opebi, Lagos, who died during the school’s inter-house sports, in February. The government made the disclosure in a statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs in the state’s Ministry of Justice,  Grace Alo, on Saturday in Lagos. The Independent National Electoral Commission has so far uploaded 159,509 results from 176, 846 polling units, seven days after the presidential poll. The figure represents 90 per cent of results from all the polling units. As of the time of filing this report, the electronic transmission of results was still ongoing. Abdullahi, the son of late former head of state, Sani Abacha, has died. This was disclosed by his sister, Gumsu Abacha, in a tweet on Saturday.
