Dangote Confirms Refinery Startup In December, Says 350,000 bpd Is First Target

The President/Chief Executive Officer, Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has said that the $20bn Dangote refinery in Lekki, Lagos would start with the refining of 350,000 barrels per day of crude oil. Somtochukwu Okwuoha, a Nigerian master’s student in the United Kingdom, has been remanded in custody after a jury found him guilty of making terrorist threats against Dundee University, Scotland. According to BBC, Okwuoha claimed he had enlisted ISIS, an international terrorist organization, to help bomb the university. About 3,000 barrels of crude oil were lost to the Nov. 15 oil spill from the offshore Egina Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel of TotalEnergies. Catholic Priest Remanded For Raping, Impregnating Teenage Girl In Anambra

An Awka Children, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Court of Anambra State, has remanded a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Nwaigwe Stephen to the Nigerian Correctional Center, for allegedly raping and impregnating a teenager.
