Lagos African Church Grammar School (1st) ; Effortswill Academy, (2nd); Dansol College, (3rd) got N1M, 300K and 200K respectively
Lagos African Church Grammar School, Ifako Lagos, emerged winners and smiled home with the One Million Naira Star Prize at the 2nd National Intellectual Development Project (NIDP), organised by Caleb University, Imota Lagos, Africa’s Best Private University in Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
The 2nd Edition of the NIDP held on Thursday 7th December 2023,
at the University Multipurpose Hall. Participants, drawn from public and private secondary schools across the Federal Republic of Nigeria, debated on the motion: ” Petrol subsidy removal: a curse or a blessing?”
Delivering a lecture on the Career Expo themed “Choosing Your Career”, during the Career Expo segment of the event, Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, Caleb University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research, Innovation Strategy and Administration), challenged the participants to focus solely on their studies; and ensure they always seek God for choice of career, even before purchasing the JAMB Form. He stressed that as young people, they have the golden opportunity to build a great foundation in life, with God as the foundation.
The NIDP is a brainchild of Caleb University in conjunction with Zenith Bank Plc, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Eco Bank Plc, UBA Plc, NIDB , De Millers Farms, Fan Milk of Nigeria Plc (FMN PLC), Golden Penny Foods, Yale Foods , Rite Foods, Checkers Africa Ltd., and the host Imota Local Government.

Recall at the Inaugural 2022 Edition, African Church Model Grammar school, Ifako Lagos, emerged winners and won the star prize of one million Naira.
The participating schools who turned out in their numbers are Baptist Academy, Kingsfield College, Strong Tower Academy, The African Church Model College, Omotayo College, Chessville Private School, Effortswill Academy, Bishop Howells Memorial School and Homad Comprehensive College.
The list also includes Yaba College of Technology, Lagos African Church Grammar School, Inspira College, Barachel Model College, Dansol High School, Divine Florence School, among others.
