The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has announced the start of its maiden free computer, CBT-based mock examination for the 2024 first-series West African Senior Secondary School Examination, WASSCE, for private candidates. BREAKING: Court Declares Rivers N800bn 2024 Budget Illegal

The Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday nullified the N800bn 2024 budget signed into law by the Rivers State Governor, Simi Fubara. In December, the governor had presented an N800bn 2024 Appropriation Bill to a faction of the state House of Assembly, comprising four lawmakers. Following the passage of the budget by the lawmakers, Fubara subsequently signed the budget into law.
