The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has reopened the head office of Sahad Supermarket, previously sealed for customer extortion and lack of transparency in price fixing. In a statement on Saturday in Abuja, the Acting Executive Vice Chairman of FCCPC, Dr Adamu Abdullahi, said the reopening followed a mutual understanding and commitment from the store to implement transparent pricing practices. The Lagos State Government on Friday announced the commencement of full enforcement of the ban on usage and distribution of Styrofoam food containers all over the state. A member of the House of Representatives Dennis Idahosa has emerged as the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Edo State Governorship election.
