The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has cleared Nigeria and all Super Eagles players of any wrongdoing during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The Super Eagles impressed at the AFCON, playing seven matches, securing victories in five, drawing one, and experiencing a lone defeat. Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have arrested one Ulagu Philemon Chukwuma, 29-year-old chef, for masterminding the kidnapping of his boss’ son, Justin Nwakwo 12, on February 10, 2024, in Jabi, Abuja.
