The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has dismissed an allegation that the Guards Brigade had been put on high alert following unusual movements, leading to suspicion of a coup plot in Nigeria. The National leadership of New Nigeria People’s Party has described the purported suspension of the party’s senator and three other House of Representatives members as a ruse.
